Do you have a business that is doing OK but could use help in the marketing department? CreationDepot is proud to present the all new CreationDepot Partners Program. This program is designed so that our customers only pay for actual performance. In other words, we become profit motivated to get quality leads calling, emailing, and visiting your business.

Sounds good. So how does it work?

First we have a meeting with you to learn as much as we can about your business and your industry. The truth of the matter is, you all are the experts, not us, so being able to pick your brain to learn what your goals are, and who your competitors are, is priceless information for a marketing campaign. We then take our notes back to the studio and come up with the best way to get people hitting you all up for business. For example, let's say you're trying to sell frogs. Our goal then becomes how do we market frogs - who are the buyers (pet shops, collectors, maintained lakes/ponds, etc.), where are they (online, offline, in another country, local, etc.), and finally what's the best way to get their attention based on their buying behavior.
Once we have our plan of attack, we then will usually kick out some or all of the following depending on what your goals are:

• Search Engine Optimization/Marketing (SEO/SEM) - optimize your website or just specific pages, or create new landing pages altogether
• Make it so people find you by getting those pages into every search engine, directory, and news feed that is relevant to your business and industry
• E-mail campaigns - do you have an existing client base? Would they be interested in what you have to offer?
• Social Media Blitz - YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. The amazing thing about social media is that it is word of mouth (the best advertising vehicle available) in hyper-drive. Using our example, if we sell frogs we can put videos that explain the different types available for sale, Facebook and Twitter will enable us to share blog posts, company news updates, sales, and even links to tips on quality frog care (with creatively placed affiliate and in house marketing ads on those landing pages).
• Blog - This one is a bit harder because we aren't industry experts in every industry, but we can coach you on how to coach us to find relevant information. We'll then write the content, publish it, and get the leads rolling back to your site.
• And the last one we'll put online (hey we can't give away all our secrets to the competition!), we'll run Pay Per Click advertising, print ads, or mass mailing campaigns if and only if they are actually a good match for your company or product. Print is a dying medium, but if your client base is their 70s and above, or if you're trying to catch the morning subway commuters, print marketing can be ideal!

Wow, okay this sounds awesome. So how much does it cost?

The beauty of this program is that it doesn't cost you anything you haven't earned, meaning that more than likely additional bucks will not be coming out of your pocket. The program is setup so that we get paid only on new income that's coming into your business. That said, once we get them to you it's up to you to make them into paying customers (unless we're selling a product online, then more than likely we're doing that work for you).
We get paid on the number of phone calls, site visits, and how many people submit an online form. Two of these are calculated by third parties - Skype for phone calls, and Google Analytics for site visits. Forms are calculated by tally - we'll each get a copy when a form is submitted and spam obviously doesn't count. At the end of each billing period (every two weeks approximately), you'll get a statement with these numbers and your total cost. The Skype number automatically forwards to your business number, but it has to be different on the site for tracking purposes.

To a small business these numbers may seem high (particularly on a bi-monthly schedule), but as long as you make a minimum sale of $35 off each customer you convert you'll do better than breaking even. To make $287.50 to cover costs you only have to sell to 8.2 customers out of 790 leads. That's only 40% of the higher quality leads (phone and forms), who are already confirmed interested parties by the time they contact you.
We told you we had designed it to enable business growth. The program works for us because we get a recurring monthly revenue, and it works for you because it's "free" labor intensive marketing.

OK so what's the fine print, and the rules?

• Your monthly payments have to be on a preauthorized credit card and will be pulled on the 1st and 15th of every month for the previous two week period. You will receive a statement on the last day of the previous month, and the 14th after close of business.
• There is a 3 month contract period because it can take a month or more to start getting results depending on competition, market saturation, and a ton of other factors including delayed search engine indexing. There's a lot that is simply out of our control, so sometimes it can take a bit to figure out how to catch the traffic and get the quality leads.
• We have to have consistent access to your website (FTP, your hosting, login information) during the contract period. Changed passwords, hosting issues, and so on all prevent us from doing our job.
• We also ask that no one else have access to your site during your contract period so that we can insure the integrity of our work. We can definitely work around this if you need to make updates, but it must be established in writing before we begin work. There's nothing worse than having our hard work fail because a third party made an malicious, unauthorized, or just simply an unintentional change that compromises our work. If it becomes an ongoing issue, we may elect not to offer the renewal contract until the problem is resolved.  
• The work we do belongs to you at the end of each 3 month period. Please note that we do save a copy of your original site before we begin work so you can always "reset" the site if you wish to do so.
• We don't take everyone. It's not a personal thing, it's a workload thing. If we don't feel we can market your product, service, or company in a way that is good for us too, then it's not a good contract for us to enter into. That said, there's not a whole lot we don't feel like we can market well.
• Outside costs are the responsibility of the company. These can include cost of Pay Per Click campaigns (to the provider, not to us), domain and hosting fees, email campaign software, etc.
