ANNOUNCING THE FORMATION OF
ROVING READERS
A NEW PERFORMANCE GROUP whose mission will be to read aloud to patients
in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
We will choose amusing, humorous stories which will be read aloud similar to a recorded book, except we will be live and in person.
ACTORS: this is a great opportunity to practice your cold reading skills for auditions!
Auditions: Saturday, April 2nd 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. SJN Auditorium
We are looking for people who sight read REALLY well. Ability to do accents well a plus. There will be lots of flexibility with performances. We’ll have some people who can perform during the week, and others who will perform only on weekends to accommodate work/school schedules.
HELP FOR JOSEPH’S HOUSE
Joseph’s House, a residential hospice for terminally ill homeless men and women in Washington, D.C. has need of several items. (See list below.) www.Josephshouse.org A collection bin has been placed in the St. John Neumann Parish Center outside of the auditorium doors, beside the statue of Our Lady of Guadeloupe.
We are reaching out to all former performers, volunteers and fans of the Theatre Ministry to help us fill that need. We plan to bring a small, intimate show, some food, and the donated items to them in March.
