One of the easiest ways to spruce up a website is to add Flash to the header. Flash is the software that allows movement on websites, and often has music associated with it. Makes for an easy way to impress your customers!
All websites must have the following items to function, domain name and hosting space. While you do not have to get these items through CreationDepot, we do offer several advantages. First, we take care of setting up the hosting, as well as linking your domain name to where the website is stored. Secondly, we remind you of when your domain name renews, as well as take care of any maintenance that needs to be done on either of these two items. For example if your website were to get damaged in some way (through hacking, server error – all very rare but it does happen), we would re-upload our most recent version of your site (which is backed up nightly).
Hosting can be paid semi-annually or annually only. Hosting also includes up to 5 different e-mail addresses at your domain name.
Google does a fantastic job of really breaking down where your visitors are coming from, letting you know how they found you, what key words they used to reach you, and then takes that data and displays it in a large, easy-to-read graph. CreationDepot.com uses Google Analytic Reports to help gauge how well we’re doing and what needs to be done to drive more traffic. The best part about the Google Analytics Report is that it tells you the traffic of each individual page, so you can see where people are coming to your site – it’s not always through the homepage.
Keep in touch with your clients and site visitors. Constant Contact is a business we partnered with to provide mass e-mail capabilities to our customers. It’s an easy-to-use interface that allows clients to build e-mail lists from their current contacts, and then build on that list by incorporating e-mail sign up forms on their websites, as well as add in additional contacts that they may get along the way directly through the Constant Contact website. The genius in this tool is that it allows small and large businesses alike to send out notices to their already existing client-base that something new has happened. Be it a new product that has just hit the market, a sale on installation, or your basic announcement, these e-mails are a great marketing tool for encouraging client interaction with your company.
