Missing Panels in Illustrator | How to Get Everything Back

Are you Missing Panels in Illustrator? Here’s how to get them back quickly!

If all of your Illustrator Toolbars are missing, most likely you bumped your “tab” key.

To get them back, just hit the tab key again and presto they should appear. Now if you’re missing a specific panel, that’s a little different.

If you have an Adobe Illustrator Toolbar Missing, or an Illustrator Properties Panel Missing, you’re going to have to pop up into the Window’s menu bar and mouse down until you find the one you’ve misplaced.

Missing panels in Illustrator are super common, but thankfully very easy to fix.

How do I bring back my Tools Panel?

Just go on up to to Windows, and then select the one that’s missing.

And that should answer the question of How do I bring back my Tools panel.

Again, missing tools in Illustrator are frustrating, but easy to fix.

If it’s not the tab key, than you can find it in the Window’s menu.

Now, to customize your workspace (your on screen work area), You can go to Windows then Workspace and select your environment setup.

Or, if you’re like me, you’ve found a setup you really enjoy, you can save out your workspace.

This is very helpful if you regularly work on two different computers – like one at home and one at work.
